Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre Presents:

 “Choreographic Collections”  

Our Spring 2009 performance will be a collection of pieces choreographed by AABT Artistic Director Julie Morton-Simpson and brought to the audience in a whole new light.

The collection will include pieces previously performed by AABT.  These include an interpretation of the music from the opera, Carmen; two sections from our ballet Forever Pirates, inspired by the music and movie Pirates of the Caribbean; our ballet Il Sogno Encantato to music from The Chronicles of Narnia; and from our last show, two sections of the Military Marches and three sections from the Big Band Suite,  including the always popular String of Pearls.

Once again we will perform at the Jo Long Theatre at the Carver Community Cultural Center, 226 N. Hackberry San Antonio, Texas 78202

Our Saturday one-hour performance will be followed by a benefit event to help AABT continue to serve its mission in the San Antonio area.  This part of our evening will take place at Tre Trattoria immediately after our show.  The address for Tre Trattoria is 4003 Broadway Street, San Antonio, TX 78209 next to the Witte Museum (210) 805-0333.
